I was showing homes to some clients of mine the other day in a lovely little area close to The Woodlands called Carriage Hills. We went into the one home, looked around and then looked out into the back yard and this is what we saw:
I took this photo through a window and it flashed back a little but isn't she beautiful?! In Carriage Hills the deer are plentiful and so tame... late afternoon and they're just walking around.
For those of you who are unfamiliar with The Woodlands where Lance and Glynis do their Real Estate Miracles, if you are planning to move to the Houston area, or you have clients or friends who are moving that way, you should see and consider The Woodlands.
It is the dream -- the invention, if you will -- of George and Cynthia Mitchell, who reasoned that houses, buildings, streets and nature can co-exist if you work at it. Forbes Magazine said Mr. Mitchell had lost his mind when he first started pumping millions upon millions into the New Town. They predicted he would go broke.
That didn't happen. Instead, it is the most successful, quality New Town that has ever been developed. You'll love living there...everyone else does, including the deer in the picture.
