Ready for Some Goosebumps? Come Hear the Vancouver Olympic theme song "I Believe" by Nikki Yanofsky.

Well its almost here! 4 Days to Go to the Opening Ceremonies!  I wish I had tickets - but like most of us I think I'll be relegated to watching it on T.V. even though it's happening practically in my backyard!

With all the kafuffle about the weather - it's been positively tropical....yeah yeah they're delivering snow by hekilopter (as my kids used to say) but what can I say?  It's going to be amazing - the snow may not be up to par - but heck it's set in one of the most beautiful cities in the world........Come see!

Hi Liz, My sister and brother in law and their daughter are heading out on the 23rd for 10 days.  They are looking forward to skiing after all the crowds are gone.

They have a friend who has a place in Whistler for them to stay.  Nice.

Hi Liz, Very moving. I'm proud to be a nearby neighbor to this great event. I'll be watching on TV too, but my broker is going up for a week. I'm jealous.

I'm sure you'll have a great time and will feel a part of it all even if you're watching it on t.v.  Very nice song...thanks.

I can't believe you are that close and aren't going. Well, I still be thinking of your wonderful country and how I miss it as I watch the festivities on TV.

I was watching Letterman (or maybe it was another late night show) last night and learned that the Olympics has moved from Vancouver to Washington DC since DC has a lot of snow.  They are even going to have events like downhill skiing off the dome of Congress.

Liz, goosebumps indeed. We all need those goosebumps now and again. I always love to watch. We need the human spirit renewed. I always love watching the Olympics for that reason. Now I can feel like I'm there watching with you!

The winter olympics has always been a fave of mine, especially the ice skating which is my all time favorite to watch. I started skating when I was 8 years old and I think it's an amazing sport. Fantastic song!

The I Believe video is the only stirring ad I've seen on TV so far. CTV has flooded the airways with ads but most of them leave me cold;). Here's hoping you get that snow and the rain doesn't follow!

Hi Liz, The video gave me goosebumps!  How exciting to host the Olympics and have that much good energy all in one place!  I will be watching on TV, too, I love the winter games.

Well, the countdown is underway. I have to clear the border in the AM and PM. I hope it is not bad.

Liz, That is going to be spectacular.  Are you sure you can't snag some tickets...Ebay maybe?  I would love to go to that, especially since it's so close to you!

Lovely song for a magnificent city.  I might be up there in August to go to visit my brother in Whistler.  He bought a house there.  I love Vancouver.
