The Secret.. The Secret... The Secret....

I'm so tired of hearing many & when I say many - I mean it... Many people saying, "Hey, Deirdra.. Have you heard about the Secret?"  Now, of course, no one on here knows me personally - you only know me through my words...... (but those who do know me through my words - know that I'm BIG on Positivity, & Being that Change & Motivation.. etc...)  However, I must tell you that - I'M SICK OF HEARING IT!

I talk to you of this - through my own personal experience & through my own deception of it..... I, too, started to romanticize...... "The Secret"..., however, God was tugging at my conscience & my heart... & when I questioned my instinct.... the enemy whispered ever so slightly in my ear, "Deirdra, don't be so close minded......." Thank God that the Holy Spirit dwells within & he comes to convict... I needed it.... '-)

I'll tell you about the Secret - if you want to know what the Big Secret is then open the Bible - you will find all the Instruction to Life that you need in PROVERBS......  The True Secret is - JESUS!!!!!  & Guess What - HE's no secret.... HE doesn't wish that ANY should perish.... but have everlasting life... & that's to all who are open to HIS Awesome Sacrificial Gift.... HIS Bloodshed........ NO "Secret - by Rhonda....." can accomplish that!!!  By the way, these have always been Jesus' Instructions to US... this is nothing new..... Jesus offers us life more abundantly... in every aspect....

I know you're probably thinking... "what's gotten into her?".....

Well, let's see...... "The Secret" is DECEPTION... (truth intermingled with lies)... & what really scares me are those out there that don't have A FAITH.... those that don't have A Faith are more than likely to go ga-ga over something like this... I've seen it firsthand.. they cling to these false beliefs like it was the last Coca-Cola on earth... (in Spanish it makes more sense... lol)

You ask - what's wrong with thinking Positively? & what's wrong with "The Secret" - well, I'll give you my opinion... & look closely how the enemy works.......  Yes, "The Secret" promotes.. positivity.. & movement & change & let's not forget.... you are basically your own god.. so, if you're your own God.... then why would you need my Jesus....?? This is the BIG ONE for me........,,,.... The principles & some of them mind you - are Great!!!!!  The Source is Wrong & that's what I have a problem with......  let me share a verse with you.. & this clearly put it into perspective for me..... & I serve a Mighty Lord who will not share HIS affections with anything..... that's including the Deceptive "Secret"........

Isaiah 44:6:

The LORD, Not Idols

    ⁶ "This is what the LORD says-
       Israel's King and Redeemer, the LORD Almighty:
       I am the first and I am the last;
       apart from me there is no God.

Whew!!! I've needed to get that off my mind for a while now...

⁷ The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge,
       but fools despise wisdom and discipline. - Prov. 1:7

To Know HIM is to Love HIM & to LOVE HIM is to Know HIM..... the only manual we should live by is HIS LIVING WORD!!!

I needed to say all of this: I've kept quiet when people have wanted to share their "Secret" with me - Now I must share the TRUTH.... I will not Deny My Lord & I will not keep quiet any longer...
