I HAVE visited Charleston and it ranks right up there as one of the best cities in the world!  Always dreamed of owning a home on Rainbow Row.

One summer my husband and I were on our way to Maryland and deliberately planned to stop in Savannah on the way up and Charleston on the way back to Naples as we had never been there.  We had a wonderful time in both places and wished we had allowed more time than just a 2-night stay.  Thanks for sharing your photos.  Now I'd like to go back again.

Hi Mary, This, I think Charleston is one of favorite places anywhere in America. I love Charleston, the Heritage and just the simple magnificent beauty. I could easily imagine myself as living there, especially in by-gone times.

Jennifer--I am so glad we were able to spend time in Charleston while on our southern vacation.  I do like Atlanta, too.  Last winter we spent a day at the Atlantan aquarium and especially liked the Titanic exhibit.

Jan--Rainbow Row would be an interesting place to live.  We learned that the pink house was built by a dentist who thought pink was the best color.  (pink is sign of healthy gums)

Barbara--I agree.  Most cities south of Mason-Dixon line might be warmer than where you and I are.

Diane--I hope you get to Charleston soon.  It is a wonderful city to visit.

Lori--That bed & breakfast was a wedding present from one of the ship builders to his daughter.  It is still in the family after all these years.

Marlene--Savanah is another great city.  Both cities have so much to offer.

Sharon--That bed & breakfast just seems to say come stay here.

William--Well said.  Times past are reflected in cities like Charleston.

Lottie--Yes, you need to put Charleston on your list.  My husband & I had it on our list for a few years and are so glad we spent time there this winter.

Lee & Carol--If you go, stay in downtown, take a bus tour, then walk and just soak up the aura.  It is so romatic.

Tony & Darcy--You will definitely enjoy Charleston.  We spent two days there and only scratched the surface.  Go.

Steve & Jan--Give yourself more credit.  Keep coming back.  All of us are learning as we go along.  i enjoy your visits.
