Thank you to everyone who came out to support Black Rock School last night! Last night, the Board Education voted to add Black Rock School as a K-8 school to their master plan. The meeting was contentious at times, but ultimately the board found a compromise and voted unanimously. The compromise included adding all three high school renovations, as well as Black Rock School, to Tier 2 priority level, . Last night was a huge victory, but the fight is far from over. Getting onto the Board of Educaton's master plan is just the first step. We will need to get city council approval as well as state approval.
