Below are a series of rock sculptures along a shoreline of Puget Sound in Washington State. This type of construction is a popular art form in the area, to be found in surprising places, including formal gardens and backyard spaces. If you look really close you can see a new piece under construction.

Absolutely wild! How do they keep them from falling over?

Hi Debi, I don't know if I'm supposed to reveal the tricks of the trade . . . but if you can keep a secret . . . the rocks have a hole drilled in them, then they are stacked on a metal rod with a discreet amount of epoxy . . .

They are fun, Tony.

They look like fun and certainly make for conversation.  My favorite is the last one.

This will get people to stop and take notice.  I am guessing that it has something to do with a business venture.
