I know not everyone is a Christian and this post is not to offend. That being said, I'm sure there are Realtors like myself who do the mailings and the little things that are planting seeds. I truly give my real estate career to God and trust in his timing. Over the past few years (tough going), I have seen him move in just the right time.
Two years in a row I was down to less than $1,000 in the bank in December and wondering how Santa was going to make it to my house (I have 5 kids). Sure enough, as if out of nowhere, I had a flurry of activity and several commissions drop into my lap. Luck? Coincidence? I prefer to thing it was God following through on his promise "Seek ye first the kingdom of God".
It is now February and my bank account is slowly dropping. I still have enough to carry me for 6 months or more (2 closings in December!). I have been steadily doing my marketing, mailouts, etc... I have faith that the Lord will take care of my business. I actually pray that he brings people into my sphere that I can help.
Again, I know not everyone adheres to this view, but for those who do, hold tight, give your business to him and watch him work!
