Attention:

Please do reply me with my private email above for the confidentiality of this transaction. Permit me to inform you of my desire of going into business relationship with you. I got your name and contact from the internet, I prayed over it and selected your name among other names due to its esteeming nature and the recommendations given to me as reputable and trust worthy person that I can do business with and by the recommendation , I must not hesitate to confide in you for this simple and sincere business .

I am Johnson edward the only son of late Mr. and Mrs. George Edward. My father was a very wealthy cocoa merchant in Abidjan, the economic capital of Ivory coast, my father was poisoned to death by his business associates on one of their outings on a business trip. My mother died when I was a baby and since then my father took me so special. Before the death of my father on January 2006 in a private hospital here in Abidjan he secretly called me on his bed side and told me that he has the sum of ten million, five hundred thousand United State Dollars. USD ($ 10.500,000) left in fixed / suspense account in one of the prime bank here in Abidjan, that he used my name as his only son for the next of Kin in depositing of the fund. He also explained to me that it was because of this wealth that he was poisoned by his business associates.

That I should seek for a foreign partner in a country of my choice where i will transfer this money and use it for investment purpose such as real estate management or hotel management.

I am honourably seeking your assistance in the following ways:

(1) To provide a bank account into which this money would be transferred to.
(2) To serve as a guardian of this fund since I am only 22 years.
(3) To make arrangement for me to come over to your country to further my education and to secure a resident permit in your country.

Moreover I am willing to offer you 20% of the total sum as compensation for your effort/ input after the successful transfer of this fund into your nominated account overseas.

Furthermore, you indicate your options towards assisting me as I believe that this transaction would be concluded within fourteen (14) days you signify interest to assist me.

Anticipating to hear from you soon.
Thanks and God bless.
Best regards,
Johnson Edward

It's the infamos Nigarian scam - they keep doing this - they only need 1/1000 of 1% success to be wealthy beyond their greatest expectations - so they keep doing it.

That is a variation of the famous "Nigerian Scam Letters." The started as letters in the mail, on cheap onion skin paper full of typos, about 20 years ago. I used to get them weekly when I ran a broadcasting corporation. Now they send them by Email. For a shorttime it was FAX. They are always the same, they want you to do something illegal with money they usually stole....according to them. The basic idea is they would, if you replied, try to get you to send visa numbers, a bank account number or even cash -- you would have to do that so they would know they could trust you. One idiot, locally, they got about 12K from. I repeat....idiot.

Google nigerian scam letters and you can find out lots about it. The Canadian RCMP and the FBI have info on them too.

I received one Saturday . It was not clear like yours. I sent an e-mail and it did not go through, thankfully. It was weird-it was "contact me as soon as you receive this". "This is very important to you" or some such wording. Glad it bounced for forgetting to put the .com on it,lol

I am Jill Edward the only daughter of late Mr. and Mrs. George Edward -- Johnson is not my brother, but my cousin.  He's out of the action, but you can be part of something BIG!

Ah huh...

I get several of these a week. Even if you block them, they find a new way to send some of their spam. Just ignore them is the easiest.

I would reply in this way, if I were certain that Johnson Edward were a real person and would actually receive a response:

Dear Mr. Edward,

I truly wish that you were here, right now at my home.  I'm actually touching each of my shoelaces with each of my hands, and my pants are down.  It would give me no greater joy than for you to be in an arched postion, lips puckered, ready to kiss my a##.

Yours Truly,

Me

This stuff is all over the internet. I get so tired of stuff like this. What is so sad is there are so many people who fall for this garbage. Unreal isn't it?

I get these. I also get harrassing phone calls from people that have seen my magnetic signs on my car. I get strange emails from people that see my email address on cards, in the newspaper, etc. When you are in real estate you tend to have given up some privacy if you advertise. The best thing to do is delete, hang up, ignore calls that come in with no caller ID. You can also put your big bad husband on the phone when they call you at 2am wanting to know what you are wearing for the 10th time that week. lol. Whatever  you do, don't reply to them.
