. . . and a good time was had by all

Yesterday Sellsius came to St. Paul, MN. I have to say those guys are a lot of fun and it was wonderful to meet some local bloggers and Active Rain members in person. Here in Minnesota we have a fairly small group of real estate bloggers. Also see Bonnie Erickson's post with more pictures and a slide show.

Rudy really likes his video camera, I know at one point I chased him around the picnic area with it. I suspect that footage will end up on the cutting room floor.

Bonnie Erickson, and she really does smile . . almost all the time but I have gotten used to it.

It did not take me long to put Joe and Rudy to work. They handled their task with the greatest of ease and didn't burn anything. The object in Rudy's hand is a video camera. He is very attached to it, or maybe it is attached to him, I couldn't tell.

Rudy, Joseph, and Alex Stenbach of CTX Mortgage. Alex is the writer of Behind the Mortgage , which he started in 2004. You can see three camera's in this picture. I am not sure why Rudy set down the video camera, up until this moment I had thought that it would have to be surgically removed from his hands.

It wasn't all fun and camera's we did have some interesting conversations about real estate and technology, and They left without buying any property which was a shame as we had so many realtor's on hand.

They left and we told them how to get to Denver, 35 south and hang a right on I80, if we gave them bad directions it will be interesting to see where they end up.

Sounds like a good time was had by all. A picnic this weekend without dying in the heat sounds like something I would like, picnics this time of the year are out for us, too hot!!!!!!!!

Good photos. I love the one of Bonnie and Joe! Rudy does like the video camera!

If you watch the first day of the tour on the BlogTour USA blog New Yorkers don't like being video'd. I dragged one of our AA's out of the office to meet Joe and Rudy because she is from New York (Carole has the accent) and she made Rudy turn off the camera!

Rudy must have got a photo of you... in that second from the bottom shot.

Jennifer, I had some great ones of T but honored her request. I wonder how many pix of T are going to end up on the cutting room floor! Teri was there at the very beginning just as the guys arrived. She had future bloggers with her who had to get to a baseball game! Those pix were also carefully edited which is why only half of Teri is visible in one shot.

T, everyone talks about your buns! You showed how to make them (well until you made them into loaves!) on one of your memes! And then there was the "bun" salute you sent to me back in "the day" on AR (which you need to fix the smashed tomato picture on your server so it shows up again)!

Maureen - I would much rather have my rear photo graphed than my face. :) that says a lot about me doesn't it. :) Back to Rudy and his camera. I am actually seeking revenge. I am not sure how, or when but . . . . he is going down. :)

I had a great time and was thrilled to meet you all. I want to plan something quarterly where we can all get together and talk maybe over coffee, lunch or drinks. Our group from here in MN are among the most talented in the country. I have decided that Minnesota is the epicenter of blogging. As a group we have been at longer than most and have some of the top blogs in the country. We just do things differently here in MN. We are after all known as the brain state. :)
