“Night of a Thousand Smiles…for Gary Panter”
Slated for March 18, 2010 from 6:00 to 11:00pm
Atlantic City, New Jersey, February 14, 2010 – Keller Williams Realty - Atlantic Shore (KWAS) is hosting their 3rd Annual Atlantic Shore Cares benefit fundraiser on Thursday, March 18th at Bally’s Atlantic City, located at Park Place and The Boardwalk, Atlantic City, New Jersey, from 6:00 to 11:00 pm in the Ocean Ballroom, 6th floor.
Each year, every Keller Williams Market Center gives back to their community in the form of fundraisers that are the heart of the Keller Williams Realty culture in action – finding and serving the higher purpose of business through charitable giving in the communities where agents live and work. KWAS’s efforts for this year’s benefit fundraiser are on behalf of Gary Panter, a life long resident of the Atlantic City area. Gary was recently diagnosed with brain cancer and is currently undergoing aggressive and intensive chemotherapy treatments with radiation to follow.
Gary Panter grew up in Brigantine and graduated from Holy Spirit High School-Class of 1973. He served as Entertainment Director for numerous years with Bally’s Atlantic City and is the former Vice President of Legends in Concert in Las Vegas. Gary previously served on the Galloway Township Board of Education. Currently, he is a volunteer Firefighter with the Galloway Township Fire Department and a member of Beacon Church.
Gary is a successful and well known Atlantic County Realtor with Keller Williams Realty in Northfield, NJ. Previously he worked for Balsley Losco and Prudential Fox & Roach.
The March 18th Fundraiser, “Night of a Thousand Smiles…for Gary Panter” will provide moral support and financial assistance for Gary, his wife Mary Jo, and their three children – Brittany, Brielle and Brandon as they face uncertain and challenging times ahead.
Mark A. Petti, a member of Atlantic Shore Cares Committee shares, “Throughout his entire life, Gary has been continuously committed to helping others. He has touched so many lives in the Atlantic City area which was evident when, within a week, the “Gary Panter Cause” on facebook had over 1,200 friends and the numbers are still growing. It’s the Keller Williams model to give back and we do it with a lot of pride and enthusiasm.”
The ticket donation price for “Night of a Thousand Smiles…for Gary Panter” is $40.00. The evening includes a cocktail reception with butler passed hors d’ouevres, pasta and dessert stations, and cash bar. Live Music for dancing will be provided by Jeremiah Hunter, Geri Mingori, and Gena Roche. There will also be a Silent Auction, 50-50, Raffles and Door Prizes.
