I tell them this 13 week (with your use every 4th week throughout the year) ownership, is like having a vacation home with three partners. But you don’t have to get along with your partners. You see your deed is for your ownership, and what the others do with theirs is not your issue. This is your home resort once a month, and if you can’t make it up you can rent it or bank it for a future trip. There are other time-share owners that bank their week and you can check the world wide inventory to swap your week for someone else’s. It doesn’t have to be the same week…just a week banked for a week somewhere else booked.
The Beauty is the dues pays for all the little stuff: you can’t split the utilities, taxes, cleaning or replacement furniture over the year or years. So the Association has come up with a Friday to Friday ownership chart…cleaning, cable, phone gas, electric, insurance and even paint & carpet is rolled into a monthly fee. You show up enjoy your week, and lock the door when you leave.
