We {HEART} Entrepreneurs

Who's gonna pull us up out of the recession?  My money's on our street corner entrepreneurs.  God Bless this guy.  I hope he sells all the flowers and all the balloons and ends up with enough money to take his family out to a nice dinner.

Me, too!  I think if anything is going to save us it's going to be supporting our local businesses - and not the ones that "talk the talk" but act like the Big Boys, trying to buy or run all their local competition out of business (seen that and it's NOT pretty), but the true local businesses who keep their money local.

I should do what El Chavo did last year http://laeastside.com/2009/02/valentine-values/#more-3824, make a photographic record of several local street corner vendors....

But I'm already home now eating and drinking :-0  ... so maybe I'll plan to do that on Mother's Day.......

Cheryl,

We had guys like this all over Tucson, and I didn't pass one that wasn't doing business.

Caution: CAT BLOG AHEAD

Including random thoughts on life, art, business, stuff, and occasionally Real Estate.

What is a CAT BLOG?

According to Seth Godin: "Cat blogs are for, by, and about the person blogging. A cat blog is about your cat and your dating travails and your boss and whatever else you feel like sharing in your public diary." Well, I am the boss, my dating years are behind me, but I do love my cats.

Enjoy!
