Living Room Before Staging

A beautiful home, views of the water, a glorious kitchen, spacious master suite, and this was how the seller was using the living room. You know, the very first room you see when you walk in the front door. Talk about a mixed first impression! It would have made a buyer wonder if this was the living room or the gym or the play room? Another thought could have ran through their head if they got past this room would be, "Why isn't there any furniture in here? What's WRONG? If the seller can't afford furniture, can I afford to live here?"

Bringing in furnishings made a huge change to this space, making it worthy of the home, and asking price~After

Thanks Julianna! The seller fell in love with this room, and will hire me to get their new home set up!

Great update on this room!  I understand the need/desire to have an exercise room...but potential buyers don't want to see that.  Nice job!

Thank you Lori!

Funny thing. . . . the seller had a HUGE finished room upstairs for an exercise room, but didn't want to haul the equipment up there! The way they had it worked for them, but sure wasn't making a good "first impression" to a buyer.

Roberta,  that's a great room.  And to later be recognized as top notch work by your peers is even sweeter.  Good job and good first post.

Thank you Kathy!

It was an honor to be recognized by both the trainers (selecting my entry from hundreds) and then by my peers.

I"m working hard to get #1 next year!!
