I mean I really don’t get it.
I live in a valley that houses about 500,000 people adjacent to Canada’s third largest city but' CBC Radio I don’t get it.
Oh. I get a bit of static here and a bit of static there. A few minutes of clarity and its gone in a flash at the next intersection. I think I found four positions on the dial that airs CBC … none with reception with a tinkers damn.
I get several country stations, rock and roll, hip hop, oldies and newbies. I can listen to Cantonese, Mandarin, Punjabi on several stations. German, Spanish and languages I can’t identify on others.
I get stations from the Washington state and at night have received a station from Idaho.
CBC Radio, I just don’t get it!
The afternoon classics with their heavy organ requiems are gone. Jurgen Goth with his chatter about the new wines he found is gone.
But when I look for Canadian symphonic recording, Saturday afternoon opera, Stuart McLean, Canada’s premier story teller I get zilch.
Maybe if I didn’t live such a strong conservative area.
CBC, I just don’t it.
Maybe I’ll get a refund on my taxes!!
I guess I won’t get that either.
