Today was a fantastic Day!!!!
First to all of you who wrote back, thank you for your input. I always appreciate the support I get on AR. What would I do without you. Only solution that was great, but did not work for me, is getting a big dog. But I would love a dog, if I ever settled down. I travel way to much to have a dog.
Now the kicker for today. I received a letter from the City today showing they were requesting a variance to the Building Code to expand their balcony. How ironic, after their behavior for the last couple of months. Should prove to be interesting. Remember, if you move to a small community, the politics will try to kill you.
As you know, or maybe not, I did my MA in First Nation Treaty Negotiation which is a huge thing here in BC. Today I bought an original piece of artwork that was incredibly beautiful.
I also had the fortunate experience of meeting the daughter of the Squamish Nation who is a truly beautiful being, such a pleasant, brilliant and wonderful women. What a treasure.
Last but not least, is was a sunny day here, which is amazing for Vancouver Canada. Loving the Olympics, got my cowbell, sweater an hat today.
