Another Amazing Infrared Ability (Pics Included)

By
Home Inspector with UTAH INFRARED Home and Building Inspections

Infrared Technology has been a proven asset to home buyers, real estate agents, home owners, and investors when used during a home inspection. The list of Infrared benefits just seem to go on forever. Withing a few more years Infrared technology will be infiltrated in some way into nearly everyones lives.

After a home inspection in Ogden, Utah last week I noticed something funny about an IR scan on some power lines that were across the street.

I called the power company and sent them these photos. I discovered a loose and malfunctioning high voltage electrical connection. I was informed I saved quite a few people from an almost certain upcoming power outage.

My home inspector was the first one to use infrared in his home inspections. Wow, it does make a difference. You get what you pay for. I love technology.
