Clients, Contracts, Places...Conventional or UNconventional?

A poster in a different cyberspot mentioned that though she had an actual brick and mortar office that often her agents needed to meet clients away from the office. She mentioned that Libraries are good places to meet.

I go to clients rather than have them come to me, or we will meet half way. That was my point in becoming mobile. These are some of my hard copy contract spots:

1) Church dining area (Permission from pastor as I was working with a Deacon in training)

2) Back room of a nail salon in between the owner taking care of her clients.

3) Back office of a Bell South center.  4) At the vacant home we are making an offer on. (If I have to wait, as is sometimes the case with small business proprietors, I have my work with me and can still be productive).

5) Clients' homes, of course.

Even when I had broker offices to use, I never used them.

Privacy is paramount, so if we are talking offers we don't do restaurants or coffee shops. Meeting at a coffee shop is good if private information will not be exchanged and possibly overheard.

Before anyone says something about safety--I know people quite well through phone and email before I meet them the 1st time in person.  Everyone I will meet knows I am SO trackable. If I was meeting a prospect interested in a listing--I will get the vehicle description and tag #.  I usually hear a pause. (You can tell they are thinking--why does she want that? Is my car going to be impressive enough?).

Then I let them know that it is for safety purposes and that I don't get out of my car unless the car with their description is the one that pulls up.

How about you? Where are some places you have met with clients to construct offers?

(sorry, no photos or links--well, actually a photo of my tablet might be appropriate...)

I use Vreo RED and Verizon Wireless. Actually, my clients and I both tend to forget that I don't have an actual office.

PS: Its another story How I managed to get two of the newest Gateway Tablets side by side.
