Absolutely hands-down #1 place is Craigslist!  Also try Ooodle.com, and search Google for free real estate listings and then post away.

You can also try Backpage, City Cribs and Trulia.  They allow you to post for free.

Point2,com offers a free listing service to realtors, you need to sign up first... they have paid membership but the free is very good too.
