On a Spectucular Tuesday in February -the NEW face in Snowboarding Maella Wins Canada a Gold! After an insane series of qualifying rounds and less then perfect conditions - it couldn't have happened to a better person!

Liz--I am so happy for Maelle and all of Canada.  Thanks for updating us.  I was planning to tune into the tube at 8:00 pm when coverage begins in my area.  Now I can play in AR's Rain for awhile longer.

I was so happy when she made it over the line, tears ran down my cheeks.  At that moment, she came to the realization that "she" was an Olympic Gold Medalist and I came to the realization that "I" was a woose!

Liz, I'm obviously not watching right now but I've been glued to the Olympics!  I don't watch tv except for these rare shows and it's absolutely fascinating to see all the sports!

Ellie you're so sweet - :-) I wish I'd volunteered at the Olympics so I could really be Johnny (Jannie) on the Spot! :-) Hi Jenean - unfortunately the fever hit like the night before they started - before that the idea was just surreal...:-) but thanks! Gerry - to me the U.S. and Canada are like half sisters/brothers......so next to Canada - I root for the U.S.! :-)
