Protest the Olympics by throwing rocks through a businesses  glass window. Attack someone who is in town to visit your country and watch the games. Throw things at the police. Talk about stupid. That a way to get your case heard.

The games bring tourism and lots of money into a country. The games bring people from countries around the world together, both the athletes and fans. The games are probably one of the best things that ever happen on this planet, as far as intenational relations go. 

The protestors are stupid. They act as criminals and expect others to have sympathy for their cause. The funny thing is their cause does not even make sense. I read where they stated that the games are bad for homeless people. Huh? How?  Whenever more money comes into an area, there is a good chance that some will filter down to a homeless program. More money equals more tax revenue. More money for business means more charitable giving.

I wonder how much money the idiot protestors have cost the city of Vancouver. I wonder how much money that might have been used to help others is being wasted to arrest these clowns and to keep on eye on them.

I submit that they are part of the problem, and not part of the solution.

And our kids learn...I caught the end of the Kentucky/Miss. St. basketball game last night and people were throwing water bottles on the floor almost hitting the players and refs. And a similar incident in Pitt last weekend!

And you notice that most of them wear masks. It means that they are not sufficiently committed to the cause as to identify themselves with it. Sometimes, it is more the destruction than the cause.

They can't see they are the problem.  Homelessness is in every big city.  There is little or none in the rural areas.  The only common thread is the city and its government programs.  These clowns can't think for themselves, a liberal professor or such started it.  Now the businessman that lost his window will think about moving to a new, safer location.  The Police will spend money taking care of the problem of attacks.  The homeless remain.  These clowns will go home and think of other enlightened ways to punish society, all the while scoring drugs, committing additional petty crimes, etc. 

Please you clowns come up with a solution.
