Treasuries are rising this week..

Finally....Some lower rates!!!

Treasuries rose as the Federal Reserve trimmed its forecast for U.S. economic growth this year and next on weaker-than-anticipated home building, while keeping its inflation projections unchanged.

Fed Chairman Ben S. Bernanke predicted in testimony before Congress that U.S. economic growth will pick up slightly next year and inflation will gradually recede.

Benchmark 10-year note yields are at the low end of their range over the past six weeks after losses in securities backed by subprime mortgages fueled demand for the safety of U.S. government debt.

Federal Reserve policy makers left the target rate for overnight lending between banks unchanged for the eighth straight time June 28, saying the potential for accelerating inflation was the biggest economic risk.
