Tour Factory Virtual Tour Video

By
Real Estate Agent with RE/MAX Stars Realty

Online video used to market real estate is growing at a record pace.  The challenge of having a slow internet connection is behind us because most consumers now have access to a broadband internet at work, at home and many even have 3G or 4G on their mobile device.  For many agents and real estate brokerage the idea of creating a real estate video can be a little overwhelming.  The reality is that if you are using one of the more popular virtual tours you probably already have the ability to export your virtual tour as an actual movie file.  The professional videographers will certainly jump in and claim "A slideshow is not a video" and I agree with them at some level.  However, there is no faster or easier way to create or embed a video file than using a virtual tour service like Tour Factory

Tour Factory and many of the other virtual tour providers have made it really easy to utilize online video as part of your internet marketing.  When you create a virtual tour with Tour Factory your virtual tour is automatically uploaded to the TourFactory YouTube account at no additional cost to you.  You have the ability to utilize the embed code that is featured on your video and paste that embed code into your blog and other online marketing or you can actually download the video file from your Tour Factory account.  This video below was embedded using the Tour Factory YouTube account.  You will notice that we opted not to have music or sound on our virtual tour or video and that choice is entirely up to you.

My goal of creating this blog is to create an awareness that adding a video file to your real estate listings, blogs and other online marketing doesn't need to be a huge production.  Chances are you have already completed 95% of the work when you created your virtual tour.

Joe - Thanks!  It is a simple process and the overall quality is better than what a beginner can create using a video camera.  This video has an element of motion and movement which I think it much better than a basic photo slideshow video.

Sam, have you ever checked out RealEstateShows.com?  It does much of the same for you but at a lower cost.

Lora - i have checked into Real Estate Shows and it is a great product and I am a huge fan of Jeff Turner and all his prior blogs on ActiveRain.  Tour Factory offers more features in my opinion and their website tracking and reporting is spectacular.  They also offer weekly automatic seller updates, an actual website, templates, flyers, photo stitching, file exports and a handful of other very functional features.  The price difference is just a little more than $200 per year.

Sam, what kind of video cam did you use for this? I'm considering moving to Tour Factory for exactly this reason. Good "old fashioned" virtual tours generally show large well-furnished rooms adequately, but vacant rooms with beige carpet and off-white walls are tough to give any sense of size. True video will give a better idea, although adding a chair or table to the room will obviously help with perceived scale.

Bill - Today is your lucky day!  This may be hard for you to believe but I did not create the video above using any type of video device.  That is made with non panoramic still photos and the Tour Factory software created and Ken Burns pan effect to create a feeling of motion.
