Thank you for exploring Lino Lakes, a growing community located about 20 minutes north of either downtown Minneapolis or St. Paul. As our name implies, there are thirteen lakes for you to enjoy - plus a number of great parks, trails, and other outdoor attractions guaranteed to help retain our town's natural setting and wildlife habitat. The Rice Creek Chain County Regional Park is a 2,550 acre park reserve located on a on beautiful George Watch Lake that hosts the Wargo Nature Center and Rice Creek Campground. Lino Lakes contains numerous city parks and trails which guarantee our town will maintain its natural settings and wildlife habitat and nearby Chomonix Golf Course offers the most scenic round of golf in the Twin Cities with elegant banquet facilities available in the Blue Heron Room. It's no surprise that the City of Lino Lakes won the Minnesota Environmental Initiative Award this year for the best environmental project in the Green Building and Development category.
