Bedminster, NJ Ranked as Best Place to Live in State

New Jersey Magazine has just ranked Bedminster as the top place to live in New Jersey in its March, 2010 issue.  Citing such factors as home values, property taxes, school performance, and proximity to services, the magazine ranked Bedminster first among 566 municipalities.  Other towns in the immediate vicinity that made the top 50 were Peapack-Gladstone, Bernards Township, Tewksbury, and Branchburg.  For the complete story and list, go to NJmontlhy.com.

As a Realtor based in and residing in the area, I have long known about the many benefits of living here.  The combination of well-planned development, preserved open spaces, a respect for history, and a high quality of life offers many advantages.  All of this is conveniently located at the intersection of two major interstate highways, routes 287 and 78, which provide convenient access to all parts of central New Jersey, eastern Pennsylvania, and New York City.  Indeed, there is something great about living in a neighborhood where you can walk to the store, hop on a bike for a back country ride, or jump in the car to see a Broadway show.
