The Ann Arbor Area Board of Realtors just released their monthly market reports. Included in the reports for January 2010 is data for Ann Arbor, Saline, Dexter, Chelsea, Manchester, Ypsilanti, Ypsilanti Township and Whitmore Lake.

Prices remain very attractive for buyers. The average sale price is $165,842 and reflects a increase of 8 percent over January 2009. Average list prices are up 6.7 percent, at $175,280.

Maybe the bottom has been hit? I posted a market report for our area outside Washington DC a few days ago showing 10-12% over this time last year and  25% smaller inventory of available homes. Here's hoping it's all up from here! Thanks for your consistent contributions to AR.

You can't really see where Ann Arbor and Ypsilanti begin.
