11 Comments on Stunning Architecture in San Marcos, Ca - Saint Petka Serbian Orthodox Church
Very nice. I bet sitting out on the front lawn on a sunny winter day is inspirational.
Jeff - We certainly don't have anything to match it here in this market. Wonder how old it is?
Jeff, that is a striking building in an idyllic setting. Thanks for stopping the car to get a photo.
Hi Jeff, What camera did you get for Christmas. This is another stunning photo and I had been acquainted with this one. I hope you share this in our ActiveRainPhotoBlogger group.
Jeff that really is a cool looking church. I can see it has a grand view as well!
Jeff, that's beautiful. The surroundings as well. I learned a little Serbo-Croatian years back when I lived in NYC. Most of it is forgotten now from non-use =(
Jeff, it took the picture a minute to load. I was expecting a "Mission" style church. This was a great surprise and yes dramatic.
Yesterday was such a gorgeous day to catch that sweet photo of the local church. Hard to believe that it is a block or so away from a Costco. It seems like something out of the old county!
Geoff - you better believe it.
Bob - good question. I don't it is all that old, especialyl given the age of things in this area.
Maria - thanks. I just REALLY had the have that photo. I drove around for a few minutes to find thebest vantage point. LOL
William - no Christmas camera. JUst my trusty old Kodak v750
Bill - the view IS also pretty inspiring.
Maggie - I would not know the language if I heard it.
Dena - That is what I found so interesting, the fact that is IS so different. There is a Greek Orthodox Church in Cardiff that I drive by occasionally. I'll have to snap that one too someday.
Melissa - it was gorgeous that day. And you're right - a very different kind of architecture just a short ditance away.
Jeff
Yes, it is a stunning piece of architechure - and especially beautiful against the blue sky. Well done!
Debi
Jeff - that is a stunning church, and the architecture is beautiful. Love the blue sky in the back ground.
