How many times do you see the term "mortgage professional" used when in fact the person using the title is NOT a mortgage professional?

I know hundreds of loan originators across the country who truly personify the term "mortgage professional," however I have also seen countless others who remind me of Richard in this YouTube video.

I'm sure most individuals reading this post are dedicated to conducting their business in a fair, competent, and truthful manner.

As mortgage professionals, we acknowledge the profound impact, which our conduct has upon our clients’ welfare. Additionally, our clients rely on the accuracy and honesty of our guidance in the disposition of their assets, which may represent a major portion of their lifetime savings.

Bottom line - It's BOZO's like Richard and friends that hurt our industry. Can you imagine being so proud of these sales tactics that you actually post it on YouTube?

Tony, I always enjoy your posts.  I eagerly anticipated watching the clown perform but I couldn't hear it.  I wasn't muted so I can't figure it out!  In any event, it boggles the mind that someone would actually spread the word out that they are incompetent.  Keep raising the bar!

Maggie - Thank you for your very kind words. Wonder what happened to sound? I just played in on my computer and it worked? You might try it again.

What amazes me with these guys are you can tell they are proud of their sales antics...sad!

It worked this time.  Some fluke on my end.  What a sad commentary on the mortgage industry.  So much for working with a professional!

Tony.... this is sad enough that it shows how lame they are for even putting this out for the public to see this. Even if I was a crook, bad at my job, didn't know what I was doing, and over promised every client just to get them into a deal.... I would have common sense not to show this.

In any case.... this is sad. I and trust me.... lol  I have heard many of loan officers use that phrase, I promise, and I guarantee way too many times. And they use this just to get the client into the door.  Good reminder here... thanks

Maggie - Glad you got it to work and see and hear.

Jeff - You are right on brother...sad to see what they get clients to fall for.

tony, I hate to admit that I actually know people like that! I have lost many loans to the "don't worry" low lifes, only to try and save those same customers from a horrible loan that is adjusting beyond what they can pay! I have 3 refi's right now with this exact scenario!!  I tell you , it's hard , but I have to bite my tongue from saying, " I TOLD YOU SO! "

Arlyn - I think all of us that are honest and professional have both lost loans and have had to bite our tongues when left cleaning up the mess of those who practice lesser standards. Keep on fighting the good fight!
