Collegue passes away at 26?

Mortgage and Lending with Your Financial Coach

Recently a fellow collegue whom was a Financial Advisor with another company passed away from an anurism at the age of 26. Too young. Engaged to be married.

Home owners insurance does not cover the mortgage in case of death. So why would one try to pay off their house as fast as they can, not have life insurance and maybe leave a wife and children. But if the other can not afford to make the payments, or does not make enough income to refinance...they would loose the house if they couldn't sell it before the  foreclosure started. Seems in this market that houses are all on the market for more than 90 days. The more one builds wealth, the more they need to protect their assets.
