They Don't Make-em Like This Anymore!

This is the farm I grew up on....my Dad grew up on....my Grandfather grew up on!

This is #5 in a series of Images Of Time Gone By that I try to capture as I travel around our area. This barn is located on a farm in Holston Valley just outside of Bristol and was built in approximately 1909. A barn building crew rolled in back then and were here for only 28 days.....can you imagine how long it would take today! This is even the original tin roof. The barn is 80' X 60' and will hold 10,000 bales of hay along with 15 horses, 40 cows and 100 sheep.
