Walking in to See Two Emmys . . Not Every day in Ct

Isn't it just an every day occurrence to walk into a property to do a listing presentation and find 2 Emmy's sitting on the bookcase? Just a matched pair.

That might happen in California or New York, but not so common in Connecticut, but that's what I saw yesterday.

Some former clients are looking to do a moveup from their condo into a home, as their family is about to get bigger in a few more months. He is an employee at ESPN in Bristol, Ct working in the productions department and because of an outstanding jobs that was done by his group for a sports production, he as a recipient of a condo in 2003, and again in 2004. Really something great to hold, with a weight of about 12 pounds and standing 14" high, they really are impressive.

I remember the day we closed on the condo and I went back to their new home with a token of appreciation for working with me. While there, the cable guy showed up to connect the cable. The statuettes were out on display waiting to be put in place. The cable guy walks over to the Emmy's takes a look at them and without saying a word vocalizes the notes familiar to anyone who watches Sportscenter:  Da-Da-Da, Da-Da-Da! Then shouts ESPN sports center real loud. He stayed far longer than he should have and even ended up sharing Chinese take-out with the family, just not wanting to leave.

As for me, I was obviously impressed, but if we complete this sell and buy, my song will be a little different.

Hi Ed:

That must of been awesome to hold the Emmys.

I don't expect to see them either in NJ.

Ed - How cool!  You need to get the photo holding them.  After all how many opportunities do we get to experience a real Emmy.

Ed, I have never see an Emmy statue.  They don't look that big and heavy on TV, so the next time I see someone hold one up and they are using two hands, I will understand why.

Ed - I've never seen an Emmy either other than when I watch the presentation on TV.  You really do need to take a photo with them and post it for all to see!
