In your quest to buy or sale Real Estate you may have no idea how or where to get started. Real Estate is one of those industries in which it pays to know someone....OR someone who knows someone:) Most if not all REALTORS work by referrals meaning they depend on their past clients to send them new business. This works in the consumer's favor because if a particular REALTOR has a bad reputation for not providing good service, the odds are against that person staying in business.
There are many ways to find a good REALTOR, but again the best way is by referral. Ask your neighbor, family members, friends or co-workers who they have used in the past and if they would ever use them again or feel comfortable referring them to you. In most towns you can just drive around and look at the For Sale signs in the yard, BUT you don't know that person's reputation yet. With the technical age here...many Web Sites will give you information about REALTORS in a certain town like...Realtor.com, Trulia and here.....Active Rain, which is a Real Estate Network website that has almost 40,000 members of the Real Estate Community from all over the country.
