Want to know what your morning commute is looking like?  Then drop into one of my favorite local sites for a gander at the traffic cams around town.  These helpful cameras located strategically around the Pikes Peak region allow residents to have a look at the road conditions before venturing out. This can be extremely helpful when deciding whether a trip to Denver is even an option or whether the roads are clear between Falcon and the Springs.

Traffic cams in Colorado Springs

I'm always amazed at how many residents don't know that they have access to viewing the cams and can use them as a helpful tool or a source of entertainment.  Visit the local cams at  http://www.springsgov.com/Trafficeng/  or get a birds eye view of the state at http://www.cotrip.org/device.htm?type=still.  The cams are just another great resource available for everyone here in the Colorado Springs, Pikes Peak region.
