Our Village, Katonah, is famous for our star resident Martha Stewart. The fight over ownership of the name "Katonah," has been going on for several months. Previously. Ms Stewart had introduced a line of furniture under the name Katonah and applied for a trademark of that name The KVIS Group position is that the name "Katonah," can't be trademarked as Ms Stewart wants. Now some levity has been introduced with the U Tube video and the song it displays.
The question is does anyone own a name? The Villagers are sensitive and proud of their little hamlet . Stay tuned as there is sure to be more controversy.
