Week Long Technology Company Interviews - Active Rain and Altos Research

At the Keller Williams national convention last week I spent some time learning about new technologies and services the exhibiting companies had to offer. So this week on my blog it is Vendor Week! Each day I'll post interviews with people who will share what's new with their companies.

Monday- Active Rain and Altos Research

Tuesday - Homes.com and KWKLY

Wednesday - ListHub, Mozy and Oodle

Thursday- Sharper Agent and United Lane

Friday - Visual Tour and Zillow

Active Rain - This company shouldn't need too much introduction, but it was exciting to see them exhibiting. Bob was delivering seminars on blogging and SEO all week, but for those that couldn't be there in person, here are the cliff notes on what's new with AR and he gives some great tips on how to best utilize the network.

Altos Research - This company closely watches market data, analizes it and packages it up for agents to use with thier clients. This is a great video with Mike Simonsen as he talks about his company, but also gives great insight into trends and forecasts he is seeing based on their data.

Sara, I wish I could have made the Family Reunion but ahhh life happens.

I love my Altos Reports and Mike is the best at support, no need to say how much AR has enhanced and grown my business.

Thanks for the info, this gave me some new things to check out.

Altos is awesome and I am glad that more and more it is being used to give market updates by national news sources. it is also a great lead generator.

Hey all- Thanks for all of the comments. It was fun shooting these clips, and I learned a lot too.

Just posted the second day, homes.com and kwkly. I am sure you've heard about homes.com, but they are now offering free agent profiles, which the video discusses. And kwkly is really interesting, as it uses texting to get more information to people who see your signs and also has a way to turn that into lead generation for you.
