Redding CA - Caltrans Eagle Cam, Nesting Eagle Pair Live Cam - February 2010
In 2004 a pair of California Bald Eagles made a nest in Redding CA. In 2007 CalTrans in pursuit of Highway work at Hiway 44 and 5 placed a safety cone in the nest in an attempt to relocate the nesting pair. The attempts were to no avail and after public "input" the cone was removed. The Eagle pair have made themselves at home ever since. A Live Cam to monitor the pair of eagles has been streaming live video. The pair were dubbed "Patriot and Liberty" This year the pair are nesting 2 more eggs. Biologists report the eagles are "rolling" the eggs.
