Missy.  Aquia Harbor is very affordable.  Of course, Stafford County is three counties removed from DC.  It's about one and a half hours drive time to DC.

Lenn, I agree with Missy with regards to your maps. They're beautiful ! Did you make these ? So realistic I almost feel like I am looking down from an air balloon as I float over Aquia Harbor.

Thanks Jo-Anne.

I make the maps with the help of a graphic artist.

Lenn, I have to agree with Missy and Jo-Anne, the graphic of Aquia habour is exceptional. I bet you someone is going to come along and steel that one, so you should start calling the lawyer now :)

That looks exceptionally beautiful and I have never heard of it before! You make me want to move there, it has boat docking and everything (well I guess so if it is a harbor duh!)  The price points look doable too. Maybe I can retire there instead of Florida! :-)

Lenn: OK. Your map graphics are , as always, stunning (I wonder what I could come up using such software?), but the porch on that home...boy could I make use of such a porch (I often suffer the ravages of "porch-envy" as I travel about the city.)!

George.  Thanks for the visit.  This is a special community and I thought it needed a special image.  My goodness George, you know that no one would use an image that doesn't belong to them.  Surely, no one would do that.

Carole.  Aquia Harbour is a popular residential community with a variety of home.  The community is constructed around a dock used by the owners.  It's not a full Harbour for commercial purposes, but home owners have use of the dock.  It's a short boat ride to the Potomac River.

Jay.  Porches are a popular feature on homes in this area.  The Georgian (a la Williamsburg) style is more popular with higher prices, but the porch is popular in the mid ranges.  While the porch is, indeed, a lovely feature on a home, it's pretty much decorative.  Folks don't use them like they did in earlier years before air conditioning.  The nice thing about the porch is that it says, "Welcome".
