This is just a very quick success story I want to share.  I recently brought in 2 buyer agents to work on my team.  They had open houses in 2 of the new construction developments I have listed this past weekend.   I was totally floored when they brought me 6 contracts today (3 on my listings and 3 on other listings).  This was one of most exciting days to come to work I can remember.  All this and I was at Keller Williams Family Reunion in New Orleans.  I was really apprehensive of passing on buyers this way in my first 2 years of business.  Now I understand that I should have added buyer agents much sooner.

Thanks Dan.  Going from 360 days of work a year to finally having a weekend off eating seafood on Boubon St was the kicker.  I can't wait to get all the pretty stuff added to my profile so I can grow with AR.

Nice job Mary.  We are planning on bringing on a buyers agent as well.  Do you mind if I ask how you found yours?

Jared:

She was already working out of the Keller Williams office.  I left Remax and went to Keller Williams in November ...  so I hadn't been there very long.  She was considered the top buyer agent at Keller.  Meanwhile, I had the most listings.  I approached her to join my team because she told me that she was a buyer specialist at another company for 12 years.  Meanwhile my phone was ringing off the hook and I needed a change.  Now it made sense to approach her.  During the process she brought another buyer agent in (her niece).  Before I knew it, they were running with some of my new buyers and I could finally take a little time off.  This is our 3rd week as a team and they have already brought me 6 contracts.  Thus, I suggest you find a successful agent who prefers buyers and wants everything you can pass.  I can't wait to see where this takes us.

Having more people on the payroll will change how you work.  You can make more money and have time off.  But your job will become more supervisor and less worker.  Good luck.

Congratulations and good luck. We often have to go through many transitions before landing in the right place. I hope you have found yours.

Robert -  Thanks.  I also added a full-time admin and a co-list agent along with the 2 buyer agents.   This is the first time I felt like I had enough volume to feed others.  So far so good.  Thanks and good luck to you.

Glenn - I have been doing this for 3 years.  This is my 3rd company in that time...  and for the first time, I really feel like I am in that "right place."   Thanks!

Thanks Gabe.   I have really enjoyed the different styles and ideas that come from AR networking.  If I have anything that is working for me, I don't mind sharing either!
