Pop Bys ~ What are they?

By

If any of you are Brian Buffini fans, you know that he has a system to build your business by referral.  One of the components of his system is to "pop by" your clients for a quick visit.  If you wonder what type of items you can hand out, visit this website: www.PopBy.com .

I'd love to hear what you "pop by" with!!

Update:

I attended a RE/MAX Convention and these are a few of the "referral getting" items I picked up - I thought they would make nice pop-bys too:

From Diane Kent a pack of gum with the phrase "Chews" me for your referrals.  (this was inside the cute pumpkin card.)

From Krantz & Associates: a roll of Mentos with this phrase "A FRESH approach to Your Lake of the Ozarks Referrals!".

From Becky Graham a Key Tag with a postcard saying "Tag Your It"  ( I know, it's misspelled on the card.)

From Wayne Short, a mini airplane with a postcard saying "Call Shorty for all your clients landing in the Air Capital".

From Tyler Kobler a Lender with First Horizon, a magnetic white board with the message saying "Here's a note to remind you that I'll always be here to help."

Amazing!  Brian now posts pop-by ideas on his website, too!  We have a good store in New England, the Christmas Tree Shops.  It is, by far, the best place for good product at reduced prices.  They are a good place around the seasons as well as, the holidays.  We used to pop-by once a quarter, to the folks who you know the best, who refer the most of your clients to you.  Now, we are stopping by once a month.  It does make a difference.  You must do all the systems, not just this one.  They do work, you must follow-up, your clients must know who you are. It's a Good Life!

Oh, By the Way. . . I am never too busy for your Ct referrals!

Interesting site...I guess it was just a matter of time before someone came up with a business selling pop-by's. Dang it...I'm too late!

Labor Day Pop-By Idea:

A lender dropped by with this cute gift.  It was a 3 pack of Ketchup, Mustard and Relish with the following printed on the attached card:

Time for a cookout!

Just popping by to ketchup with you...from your lender that really cuts the mustard and relishes your referrals!

I thought it was just darling!!

What a cool site! Thanks for sharing.

I use a bag of microwave popcorn and attach a note about "what is popping" at United Country XXX. I've mainly tried this with expired listings.
