U.S. Census Bureau is up to their old tricks?

I'm not in to bashing Census workers. Many of them are part-time employees. Heck our Realtor association is even advertising for them letting Realtors know that the Census Bureau is offering jobs for extra income.

However at the same time, the census has gotten extremely invasive and expanded far far beyond their Constitutional boundaries. The Constitution only allows for a census once every 10 years and only to do a head count of each state's population in order to determine how many Congressional representatives are apportioned to each state. More details and links in Purpose of the U.S. Census - seems the federal government is confused.

I don't advocate people ignoring or confronting census workers, however I do agree that the Census Bureau is way over-stepping its Constitutional limits. The Census repeatedly advertises on TV, radio, and online that they are collecting all this data in order to determine where federal dollars go. Wrong, wrong, wrong. The Constitution does not permit this. Check out the video below. The guy does comes across a little strong, but he is spot on in what he says.

I hear ya but the big problem is educating the public. Most people just have no clue who can do and under what authority

Since when is the federal government limited to its Constitutional role?  Not in my lifetime...
