Lately I've been working at getting my affairs in order. It seems I make enough money that I can't just continue to "wing-it" and get by. Last month I met with my attorney and updated my will and also threw in a living will and other miscellaneous documents dealing with me entering the afterlife.
Now I'm finally taking the advice of many associates and my attorney and "S" corping myself. It's a step I've known I need to take. So what made it happen?
Wayne Janner, the broker of Keller Williams Realty Diamond Partners, Inc of Olathe, Kansas brought in a tax/accounting guy to make it happen. Now, he didn't just do it for me. He did it for anyone in the office that is always too busy to do it for themselves. Again, I've known I need to do this, I just hadn't.
Taking care of the financial concerns of others has always been my priority, work wise. Somehow I had continued to let my affairs slip to the background. AND I KNOW BETTER.
I'm not going to provide you accounting or legal advice here. But I think it's time many real estate agents here on active|rain review their situations and do what is right for themselves. It might make a world of difference to you and your heirs.
By the way, for my afterlife, what do you think of the KISS Kasket? Is this a good idea?
