Becoming An "S" Corp

Real Estate Agent with Ad Astra Realty BR00222587

Lately I've been working at getting my affairs in order.  It seems I make enough money that I can't just continue to "wing-it" and get by.  Last month I met with my attorney and updated my will and also threw in a living will and other miscellaneous documents dealing with me entering the afterlife.

Now I'm finally taking the advice of many associates and my attorney and "S" corping myself.  It's a step I've known I need to take.  So what made it happen?

Wayne Janner, the broker of Keller Williams Realty Diamond Partners, Inc of Olathe, Kansas brought in a tax/accounting guy to make it happen.  Now, he didn't just do it for me.  He did it for anyone in the office that is always too busy to do it for themselves.  Again, I've known I need to do this, I just hadn't.

Taking care of the financial concerns of others has always been my priority, work wise.  Somehow I had continued to let my affairs slip to the background.  AND I KNOW BETTER.

I'm not going to provide you accounting or legal advice here.  But I think it's time many real estate agents here on active|rain review their situations and do what is right for themselves.  It might make a world of difference to you and your heirs.

By the way, for my afterlife, what do you think of the KISS Kasket?  Is this a good idea?

GREAT ADVISE!  I got my affairs in order late last year.  It was fairly easy to do, it basically took a bit a time.  My attorney was great, set up my power of attorney, living will, estate planning etc.....Now I can rest easy knowing it is taken care of.   It's not always a pleasant thought to plan and prepare for ones demise, but it's inevitable!

BTW.... Great Kaskit too!

Thanks.  And that's one vote for the Kasket.

If that is the Kasket you want, make sure it is in your will and that I go before you do.  I was thinking a nice pine box and we will put you out on my dad's back forty with all those wild turkey's you love.  Just a thought.  I love your blogs.  They are fun, informative and sometimes down-right silly.   Your loving wife.

Ahhh.  But check out the Kasket.  It doubles as a beer cooler!
