A fellow sits behind me who does not even know we have a bad economy. He sits approximately 4 feet from me and lives in a different world than most people I know. He has been marred a few years and now has two little boys; 3 and less than a year.
He is an EXCELLENT producer because he continues to focus on what he wants and does not waste time with what he does not want. He wants to spend time with his family and be a good family man and he wants to create business. He has time for a large number of friends. He works hard and focuses on loan products and real estate nuances. He studies loans to the detail better than anyone I know. He does not let people waste his time; he hones in every day on what he wants to achieve. He does not doubt himself with thoughts of "I can't do it" or "business is bad"...he just goes to work everyday and focuses on HIS success. He does not get caught up in the drama of the economy.
He knows what he wants. He studies product. He is in continuous communication with his clients and referral sources. He does not let people run across his mind with their muddy shoes. He studies - He works- He focuses- and he is very successful. He should be a model to most in this business.
