19 Comments on Feng Shui Synchronicity at Work---Back to Northport, Long Island
OK Carole..you've convinced me. I'm definately going to have to learn more about all of this!
That was amazing!
Carole, what an amazing story. So many things at work here beneath the surface. It is incredible how we are all connected together beneath the surface nuances of everyday appearances, isn't it ? The subconscious mind(s) at work.
I'm so glad you've had this experience and now have an answer to your question (as well as a wonderful new friend).
Jo
What a story! Jo-Anne said it well, we are all connected (like it or not). Our minds are so very powerful, we just don't understand or know how to use the power we possess.
Joan, it took you this long? :) It does still amaze me every day.
Mary, I'm not sure what causes them and I think some people have them more then others but this was too good not to post about. I got the email the morning after I posted the blog! I'm looking forward to meeting this woman, there is a reason she brought my clients pet back to meet her and a reason for all of us to meet.
Laurie, this is no bad or ugly...there are some better aspects then others. If there is anything unfavorable, we change it! At little or no cost. I couldn't do this work if I didn't believe in it 100%.
Jo, your post about the subconcious had an impact on me; it was mentioned to me later that day by someone who knew nothing about your post!
Cynthia, we are ALL connected. Sometimes I think my Six Degress of Separation are only two!
Teri, everything I post is true. Even this was a bit much for me, I really should know to expect the unexpected but this was incredible in timing as well as the connections.
Melissa, if it happens all the time to you, too, you are attracting it in. Isn't it amazing what we create for ourselves?
Lizette, I never know what's going to happen either. Life has become an adventure that I didn't expect! I love it!
Carole...
I have just subscribed to your blog so that I can learn more about Feng Shui.
I know very little about this but I do plan on doing some homework on the subject.
I would like to say that I to believe everything happens for a reason and we just are not all made these reasons.
TLW...ROAR!
We believe in so many cultures I have everything and anything to protect me from "negativity" (the handing mirrors so it reflects and chases them back out...the positioning of my furniture....foot of bed does not look out the bedroom door. Backs of chairs do not face doors/windows. You should post some more stuff about positioning. I love that stuff! Oh...put reasons why too!
Hey Carole,
I can't believe that I'm just getting around to comment on this post now, but I was off AR for a number of days and am trying to catch up!
You know that, like yourself and so many others, I believe that everything happens for a reason and that there are no coincidences. I think that this whole 'tale' is so interesting in the way that everything has unfolded and, of course, would love to see how it progresses!
BTW, Carole, you have gained so many 'fans' with respect to your blogs and talents....I am so glad that you decided to 'hang in there' and continue to post!
VAL
Thank you, TLW, I am thrilled that you want to learn more about Feng Shui. If I didn't absolutely believe in it, I couldn't do it. Sheron is currently posting about it because I am doing a consultation for her and she is documenting it. Thank goodness she is off to a great start! Someday I would like to ROAR....there is SO much to ROAR about :)
Sally, that is a post I haven't done....and would be quite lenghty but I will certainly do one, possibly in parts because of your interst. There are, as you know, certain principles on the placement of furniture to allow for a harmonious flow of Energy. From your posts, though, it sounds like you've got that down!
Val, I will certainly call you when we go, if her "Auspicious Pumpkin" reaches another ten pounds it will also make a new record. She sounds like an absolutely facinating person and of course I was meant to meet her! As for my posts, I wouldn't still be on AR if you hadn't encouraged me. It was getting pretty discouraging but it seems to have sparked an interest and I hope that encourages people to just TRY it.
Chinese are the ones who live by the bamboo....they even have it braided...in tiers etc.....Check this hotel out here in Waikiki geared for Feng Shui...http://www.aquaresorts.com/aqua-bamboo/index.htm
"The sanctuary of Aqua Bamboo & Spa gracefully combines the harmony of the tropics with the serenity of Asian Feng Shui to create an intimate place of leisure and relaxation"
Good topic for you to write.....
Sally, thank you for the comment. The Chinese love bamboo for the reasons I mentioned and also during Feng Shui years ago because it relates so closely, we learned about Bau-Biology. All natural materials that don't harm the earth, outgass, have exessive electro magnetic energy, geopathic stress on the land...a whole study in itself. Today it is "Greening."
Interesting to think these things are finally, years later finally being addressed :)
But Feng Shui is about plants with rounded leaves which bamboo plants don't have. Back then, at any rate, we were told about it and it is incorporated because it grows so quickly and is strong yet able to "Go with the Flow." It is incorporated into new construction because it then, in later years, became known as a "lucky plant." But from what I remember, that wasn't the origins of why it was used, although I could be wrong.
Carol - I'm with you - there is synchronicity going on all the time; either I can choose to accept it or call it coincidence. Candidly, it does freak me out just a bit sometimes though. Other times I'm able to delight in it.
I'm going to google that book right now - it sounds like something that would be right up my alley!
Jackie
Jackie, When it happens over and over again I too get mystified but I always find it amazing. I do not believe in coincidences and think everything happens for a reason. The synchronicities of this story just went on and on...
