Sometimes when I'm out taking pictures, I have no idea why I'm taking some of them.

If it looks interesting or unusual, I'll snap away and worry about trying to do something with the picture later on.

When I get back to the office and start going through all the pictures to catalog them, a thought will hit me.

Such is the case with the following picture.

Is your load too heavy?

That poor turtle wasn't going anywhere, and he wasn't getter there too fast. It might have something to do with the load he's carrying on his back.

Are you carrying around a load that's too heavy? It might be time to seek some help, hire some help, or perhaps simply do some analysis to see what you could do without.

Russell, I do the same thing. I'll see something and snap away. Sometimes it's weeks before I know what I'm going to do w/ that photo.

Load to heavy? That's when it's time to hire an assistant!  Perfect pic for that post!

Russell, that is a good idea. I think yo really need to analyze where you are effective, and where you could improve yourself by finding someone who can complement your efforts.

Hi, Russel. Like Colleen, I have a collection of pictures that I plan to use for future posts. Many times, the picture itself suggests a post.

Since you do it yourself, I see that I'm in good company!

Hi Russel ~ I've finally started stockpiling photos for future use. See a firetruck - take a picture.  See a street closure sign for a parade - take a picture, etc. Someday I'll need them for a post.

Liz

That is an absolutely beautiful picture of the cool cat.

Russel, I know this has nothing to do with the post, but I LOVE that turtle!  Honestly, I'd buy him if I could!!  Someone made that with a lot of care.....

I have been carrying something around with me, Russel. And I look forward to hearing your thoughts because this was a heavy burden.

Russel, I am always looking for something neat to take a photo of....every time I've left my camera behind I've ended up needing it...so I just keep it with me all the time now. Have a great day!

Another great shot Russel...you are trigger happy with the camera and the photos always seem to turn out well. The turtle has a lot of character...going nowhere fast indeed!

Hey, Folks.

Thanks for stopping by and commenting.

I have read all the comments, but since this post is rather old, rather than making comments here in my post to each and every one of you, I'll just let everyone know that I have read all the comments and if there are any questions, I'll answer those below. Otherwise I'll simply post this comment and then head over to your blogs soon to visit and do some reading and commenting. I hope you'll have a nice welcome mat out for me!

Don't forget to let your cat come out to play with all the other ActiveRain kitties. Your cat-friendly dogs can come, too!

If you need a great cat book, get yourself a copy of Peg Silloway's The Cat Lover's Book of Days.

Hope all is well with everyone.
