The Making Home Affordable refinance program is set to end....
This program was designed to help borrowers that are current on their home but the value of their home has decreased.
When announced in March 2009, the Home Affordable Refinance Program guidelines required the Note Date for all Home Affordable Refinance Program loans to be on or before June 10, 2010.
The Home Affordable Refinance Program includes:
1. Freddie Mac Relief Refinance MortgageSM
2. Fannie Mae Refi PlusTM
3. Fannie Mae DU Refi PlusTM
Requests to extend these programs have been submitted to the Agencies; however, as of today, there has been no official extension announcement.
