WOW!!  Just when you think you know or have heard it all.  The topic today was PRODUCTION!  What a timely topic, don't you think?  Here are my TOP 10 ideas/reminders from today!

  1. The difference between a Real Estate agent earning a living and a professional salesperson doing a large volume of business can be defined as efficiency.  In a changing market, efficiency is critical.
  2. Excuses only satisfy the person who is giving them.
  3. Several times a day check to make sure your ego is not running your business... instead use good common sense.
  4. Remember the following thoughts... you don't have to do business with people who waste your time... people who are rude... or people who are impossibly demanding!
  5. At the end of each day, answer the following questions:  What did I do right today?  Where did I get off track?  What do I have to do tomorrow?
  6. You must control your destiny or somebody else will.
  7. To increase production we have to defeat complacency... complacency is when you're satisfied with the status-quo.
  8. If you can learn to control the cleanliness of your home, your weight and your finances, you can control any part of your life.
  9. Work on extraordinary customer service with every client... meaning, strong weekly... truthful... upfront communication.
  10. Minds are like parachutes... they function only when they are open.

#4 is the most important thought that everyone of us should have! I'd rather have NO business than BAD business!

Thanks for sharing all the wonderful things you have been learning! I have enjoyed reading all of them!

Jennifer:  We can't have enough reminders as far as I'm concerned!  Thanks.

Debbie:  I LOVE #4.  I've given back 14 listings just in the last 30 days.  I'm not a magician.  I'd love to change the market, but unfortunately that is beyond my expertise.

Sue thank you for taking the time each day to share what you have learned.  I'm sure that it has helped you to reinforce what you gained that day but it really helps us as well.  I love these points.  Everytime I said to myself this is my favorite then I read the next one and like it too!  They are all great.

Kimberly:  It definitely helps to summarize and reinforce my thoughts for the day.  You have no idea how tough it is to narrow my list down.  Every night I just want to transcribe the entire retreat for you guys!  I am so blessed to be able to attend!

Sue,  Thanks again.  Sometimes in a tough market its easy to go away from events like these because of the cost involved but that s when these events are the most crucial.  How long is your Retreat?

Steak:  Sadly today is the last day.  And you're right... people told me they couldn't afford to go... I told them, they really couldn't afford NOT to.    My goal is that my posts help those that really wanted to be there & truly couldn't.

I love the post and thanks for the links as well! I am going to make some more changes in my business for sure! Here's another snippet from a recent "John Tenza" coaching course our office attended to get you going in the mornings- When you get up and get ready for your day - Say real loud and enthusiastically -    " I'm getting dressed so some buddy's got to pay!".

Rey:  This is not an "ACTUAL" count, but out of 4500 in attendance, it appeared as though less than 50 were from Las Vegas.  How sad for our market.

Paul:  That's a great little chant!
