what lies before our eyes
How often one sees people looking far and wide for what they are holding in their hands? Why! I am doing it myself at this very moment. ~Augustus William Hare and Julius Charles Hare, Guesses at Truth, by Two Brothers, 1827
sometimes when we seek the truth, our path becomes circuitous and in the quest to achieve our goal, we lose our sense of direction. or the acquisition of what we seek becomes the focus of all effort. as we pursue it, we lose our grasp of what is most important. and that which is what we need, not what we seek, flows like grains of sand through our fingers. lost in the wind of our chase.
keep your perspective when you seek to achieve your goals. for happiness lies within. one need only look that brief distance into the window of your soul. find the light and peace. and know when you have enough.
and have a great week-end!
