The order and condition of our work environment is a reflection of our work habits, our production and our lives. It is an indicator of how we think. It reflects our personality. The condition of our work space tells a story about us. Some stories are best left untold!! However, an office space tells it all. I love to walk into an agent's office while that agent is working. Surprise, surprise!! 
Do you have random piles of paperwork on your desk? Are your wall photos hanging at an angle? Do you ever clean around your work area? Do you make use of file cabinets and file drawers? Do you have boxes stored? Are you a hoarder???? You can't imagine what I've seen in 32 years.
I enjoy coming to work everyday to a neat, clean, well organized office. I can think clearly, and I do not leave the office until my desk is cleared. I want to look forward to returning the next day rather than dreading the thought of cleaning up a mess from the day before. 
My office condition is a reflection of how I work. Everything is in its place, and there is a place for everything!!! I require organization in my life, in my work and in my workplace. Do you????

Ritu.....that's the right way to do it.....I am still from the old school....my work is in folders in file drawers in alphabetical order by the new buyers' last name....(that will be the seller, next time around, and I want it at my fingertips!!)
I've been making an effort to reduce my mess, some days it better than others! I do make a point of going through everything on my desk once a week, so at least on that day I look organized!

I always keep my workplace neat and clean when I leave before the day. First impressions do mean a great deal to people.
Harry.....it's easier to work if one is organized, neat and orderly.

Barbara, I too love a clean and clear desk top! It helps me to organize my daily chores and stay focused!
I wish my office was that neat. It is organizaed, but neat....not so much.

Organization simplifies life period. No matter what it is. Home, kitchen, work space. It takes some people a little more effort than others to get there, but everyone can with a little practice.
Allison.....It easy to work in a clean, well organized work space.....I can't imagine working any other way.

Jane....I have a hard time believing that you have anything that's disorganized.....
Organization and having a neat workspace is essential in every area - work and home. It's so nice to have everything where it should be - nice and clean. I laugh when I see these people at work who say, "I know it's here somewhere..." and proceed to tear apart their office - taking 20 minutes to find something that should have been easily found.
Katie....I can't even relate to that.....I don't understand how they can make any money at all.
