4 Comments on Old Fashion Real Estate Farming....Does it still work?
If you have only spent 10 hours delivering, how much time did you spend talking to folks? Did you cultivate a relationship over the last 4 years or just pass out pumpkins and flags? You are getting listings from showing up twice a year is amasing.
Thanks for the comment Evelyn. We do talk to the people when we walk the neighborhood. We also walk with Baseball & Footbaall Schedules, making 4 visits a year. The other months are mailings, newsletter or postcards and magnets. We are also serving their insurance needs, so we talk individually to our clients through out the year.
My opinion, from the neighborhood response is that they appreciate and respect our efforts.
What do you think about post cards? Are they just throw away junk mail, or do you think people actually read them?
I think postcards serve a great purpose of staying in front of the public. We always do just listed and just solds. We also do some seasonal cards, Valentines, THanksgiving, and the like. I have actually had phone calls and market analysis appointments from postcard mailings.
