Let's Talk About 203K Loans and The New Buyer Pool!

Fall of 2009, RE/MAX International flew me out to the headquarters in Denver Colorado, as a guest speaker on the RE/MAX Town Hall Meeting shows that they produce. 

I had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Dave Liniger, Founder and CEO of RE/MAX International. 

The topic of the show was 2 fold.  The 1^st part of the show was about the current real estate market of how foreclosures are impacting the sales and inventory.  The solution of helping with foreclosures is the FHA 203K loan, which has been around a long time.  I have recently wrote and published a blog on this subject. 

The 2nd part of the show is the quote "new buyer pool" which are the Echo Boomers (Gen X and Gen Y). I was a guest speaker as well as a Gen Y agent from Northern Virginia, curious that both speakers are from the Virginia area. 

The show's producer visited one Saturday a few weeks before we were due to fly out for the show.  Mark the producer spent a whole day with me.  He taped me with a one of my Gen Y client, in the office working with a Gen Y office assistant (all my assistants are Echo Boomers), a personal interview and last but not least he drove around and filmed a few of my listings.
