Senior Citizens Need Special Attention to "Right-Size"
Everyone knows that moving can be stressful, but senior citizens need special attention to "right-size". During my course study for Seniors Real Estate Specialist(SRES), a designation given by the National Association of Realtors, I learned about many different issues facing seniors and the elderly when it's time for them to make a move. This designation was important to me because of my love and respect for my parents as well as my affinity for the elderly - I hope to be one, one day.
With proper planning and preparation, the move can be smooth and relaxing. Sensitivity to the fact that this is much more than brick and mortar and all the cherished memories associated with the home must be balanced with the practicality and necessity of moving closer to family, medical facilities, public transportation, etc. There's so much for seniors to consider.
That is why it was such a pleasure to meet Robin Zopp of Beltway Movers. She is a fantastic resource for recommendations of senior moving services. Robin offers assistance with de-cluttering (a must!) as well as 3 months of free storage while I get the home sold!!
Robin gave me a Senior Move Workbook which is designed to be a HUGE help to plan, prepare, move, and relax!
Robin says they have built their business with supreme customer service. Comment cards are emailed afterward so that clients can take their time with returning their feedback -- which is taken very seriously. And of course, Beltway Movers offers a 5% senior citizen discount.
Senior citizens need special attention to "right-size",and that's exactly why they should be contacting Robin Zopp and Beltway Movers for this very important service.
